(PressZoom) - The mystery of the "Piano Man" has been solved. The 20-year-old reportedly broke his silence after four months in psychiatric care in England, saying that he was from Bavaria, Germany. The German embassy then had to confirm his identity.

Officials would so only that the man has been returned to Bavaria, and gave no other details on his identity or where he would be living. British paper the Daily Mirror said the man had been trying to commit suicide when he was found.

According to the reported story, he had recently lost his job in Paris. The Daily Mirror also claim that hospital workers were not telling the truth about the man's piano performance -- from which stemmed his name -- saying he couldn't play a note.
